very disappointed after receiving a big update on november 3, 2020 that I am now unable to open e-mail messages on my Windows Live Mail 2012 account. I have spent all day trying to get this resolved.

I'm managing a custom domain name on Outlook.com. I used wlalias and Outlook Aliases tools to create aliases specific for the domain (postmaster, webmaster, abuse etc.). It worked the first time on the user. But I had to delete the user for some reason and created a new one.

Any files on One drive should be safe, not part of Windows 10. Just login to outlook.com and select the options in the top left hand corner. You will see onedrive there.
