I also called the bank branches around me to see if there was anyone with the authorization to lift a hold and none of them are able to either. I logged into my bank account this morning (USBank) and was a little surprised that my balance was a quite bit larger than expected. After some digging, I found a $5000 IFI deposit from Wells Fargo was posted to my account on Feb 2, 2022. I've seen IFI deposits before, and they're usually for less than a dollar and are taken back immediately.

I put in my resignation from Wells Fargo last Friday and my manager asked me the typical questions of why I was leaving and where I was going. I did ask him if answering the question of where I was going could mean losing access, and he said no. I wasn't going to Bank of America, or any of the big 4 banks but a smaller regional bank.

Some weeks my paycheck hits Friday at 3am. Some weeks it’s Friday by 9am. Some weeks like this week, it still hasn’t posted with Wells Fargo “early pay day”. Does anyone else have this issue? Wondering if I need to change my bills to fall on the actual pay day of Tuesday and stop with the early pay day. Just curious.
