Patch: binary relocatability support for Gimp Hi, Hongli Lai writes: On Win32, Gimp is relocatable. It can find out it's own path at runtime and find out where it's data files are. On Linux, all paths in Gimp are hardcoded at compile time. This means the app is not relocatable.

By the way I've just installed GIMP 2.6.2 in Windows and I've noticed some changes in how GIMP manages the windows (tools, main and layers) it seems that the main window is always behind the tools and layers windows.

Adding a new file plugin to gimp I am working on a djvu (read/write) plugin for gimp , i hav put a working read part of the plugin in the plugin registry. Can it be put into the core , are new file plugins being accepted.??

Thank you Dear Gimp developers, The gimp is absolutely is one of my indispensable apps. With it I have been able to create cool graphics for web design and photo manipulation for pictures of my family. I sell people on checking out linux and free/open source software by touting the power and usability of the gimp. It is a great, great program.

I will probably, in the end make a gimp_custom_layer_set_mode (drawable, custom_layer_formula); where custom layer formula is a string exactly like the one taht would be typed on the interface. The rendering engine use a stack - I am in the proccess of writting a "compiler" from the c like expression to the operand stack.
